A handmade 3D-print shop that no longer looks like a Square template. Inventory and checkout stayed in Square.

The problem
Square took payments, but the storefront looked like every other Square site. There was no way to make it feel handmade and playful the way the products are — and they didn’t want to throw out the inventory and checkout they already used.
- Square’s template locked the layout, type, and buttons, so the shop couldn’t look like the products.
- Inventory and payments already lived in Square. A second system would have meant running two businesses.
- Old Square store links needed to keep working after the move.
What I did
I built a new site around their brand instead of dressing up Square’s template. Color, type, and sticker-style cards so every page feels like their shop.
Art, Creatures, Fidgets, and Everyday each get a bit of their own personality, still as one shop. Guests browse, pick shipping or pickup, and check out without an account. Square still holds inventory and payments; old Square links keep working.
What changed
- The shop looks like Sean and Emily, not a template.
- They still manage products and payments in Square.
- Customers check out as guests, with shipping or local pickup, and land back on the new site after paying.
- Old Square URLs still resolve, so shared links didn’t break.
